About Us
The Montmorency-Eltham RSL has the primary purpose of promoting the welfare, wellbeing, and interests of current and former serving members of the Australian Defence Force, as well as their dependants.
Our Venue

Veteran support: Assistance with entitlements, benefits, and navigating the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
- Commemoration: Organising commemoration activities including ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services to honour service members.

Welfare: Programs for veterans and their families including social and recreational activities, and social support networks.
- Advocacy: Lobbying government on policies affecting veterans and the broader defence community
Our Bistro
Fresh Ingredients, Tasty Meals
Our chef uses the latest seasonal ingredients to craft a wide range of mouth watering foods to delight your taste buds. Chef Specials are offered weekly to our members for an exciting array of choices at the Montmorency Eltham RSL.
Monty Beef Burger
Seasoned beef patty topped with melted chedder cheese, battered onion rings and smokey BBQ sauce on a toasted continental roll with mixed greens and a side of spiced chips.
Classic Chicken Parmigiana
Hand crumbed buterflied chicken breast topped with Virginian ham, slow cooked rich Napoli sauce and melted cheese and your choice of sides
Lemon Pepper Dusted Calamari
Scored calamari, lightly dusted with gluten free cornflour then golden fried and finished with lemon pepper seasoning served with garlic aioli and your choice of sides.

YourPlay is a personal gaming card that gives every player
the power to track their playing activity over time.
Registration is quick, easy and your details remain completely anonymous. You’ll have access to your playing history and receive annual activity statements.
Casual player cards that do not require registration are also available in venue. They will allow you to track your play but have limited features. Register for YourPlay online by filling out some simple details.
Make sure you swipe your RSL members card when you sign in and throughout the venue to receive points from your purchases!
You can use these points in the venue on meals and drinks or online to claim from the RSL Rewards shop!

🎸 LEARN GUITAR FOR VETERANS & MEMBERS
Have you ever wanted to learn guitar, or pick one up again after years of it collecting dust? 🎶
Montmorency Eltham RSL is inviting our veterans and members to register their interest in our upcoming Guitars for Vets initiative!
Whether you’re a complete beginner who has never touched a guitar or someone who knows a few basic chords and wants to learn more, we’d love to hear from you.
🎵 What’s involved?
• One hour per week over approximately 6–10 weeks
• Sessions held in the afternoon or evening (day and time TBA)
• Initially, places for up to 5 participants
• No guitar? No problem! Loan guitars may be available to get you started.
The Guitars for Vets program uses music to encourage camaraderie, friendship and connection, with a particular focus on supporting veterans through music.
🎸 Can you already play? We’d also love to hear from intermediate or advanced players who may be interested in helping others learn!

Leonie will be selling poppies and badges outside Bunnings in Eltham. If you're in the Montmorency or Eltham area, help our veterans and their families get the support they need by buying a poppy from Leonie and other Montmorency-Eltham RSL Sub-Branch members.
For more than a century, RSL Victoria has been supporting veterans and their families by connecting them with essential resources and assistance, including access to healthcare, housing, food vouchers, welfare services, wellbeing programs, general financial support and much more.

Last night we had another wonderful evening bringing veterans together over great food, good conversation and even better company. Our dinners provide a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and access valuable welfare and support services.
The dinner was also attended by Lucy Saaroni the new Chief of Veterans and Families Services from RSL Victoria who gave a brief update on her role and plans for the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so special—we look forward to hosting the next one on Mon 14 Dec (Christmas special)
